The Heart Room (2022) is an exploration of faith, obligation, and self-acceptance. It explores the concept of an inner child, while cross-pollinating ideas from a Christian upbringing. This film was Charlie’s first foray into directing a full crew and operating professional film equipment.

This film was completed as a “junior thesis” for the class Fiction II at Pratt Institute.
